Global Restoration is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Mitigation Technician to lead and oversee water, fire, mold, and biohazard restoration projects ensuring swift and effective solutions for our clients. .This role combines hands-on field work, crew leadership, customer service, and project documentation to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards. are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technician. Responsibilities
- Respond to, lead, and coordinate emergency mitigation projects, including water, mold, fire, and smoke restoration, with participation in after-hours on-call rotations.
- Lead and supervise mitigation crews on residential and commercial projects.
- Perform and oversee water extraction, structural drying, demolition, mold remediation, smoke cleaning, debris removal, and cleaning in accordance with IICRC standards.
- Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment, including dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filtration, and specialty equipment.
- Conduct site assessments, determine project scope, and prepare estimates using Xactimate.
- Take moisture readings, maintain drying logs, and document job progress with photos, moisture maps, notes, and reports in DASH and other required platforms.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and scheduling with the office and Project Managers to ensure emergency response readiness.
- Supervise job site operations and ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, PPE, respiratory protection, and environmental regulations.
- Train and mentor team members on restoration techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, vendors, and internal teams, providing project updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and job sites in a clean, organized, and operational condition.
- Present a professional appearance and wear the required company uniform.
- Attend production meetings and work overtime, weekends, and after-hours emergency calls as needed.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection measures, and adherence to OSHA standards.
- Ability to handle emergency response readiness with flexibility for on-call coverage at any time of day or night.
- 5+ years of restoration or mitigation experience
- Previous lead or crew chief experience required
- IICRC WRT certification preferred; ASD, AMRT, FSRT, or other certifications required
- Experience with XactAnalysis, DASH, DocuSketch preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Punctuality is required
- Ability to work in fast-paced and emergency-response environments.
- Forklift Experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
- Reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly.
- Climb ladders and work in attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces.
- Bend, kneel, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
- Work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
- Wear PPE, including respirators, as required.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
