The Role
We are hiring a rare entry level Operations Support Specialist to join our in-office operations team in San Diego. You will keep the day-to-day systems that run operations organized and on track across onboarding, documentation, and tracking, while learning to work directly with the data those systems generate for our operations team. This role will be part operational execution and part analytical support, designed for someone who wants to grow alongside a team that is actively expanding its capabilities.
You will not be working in isolation. You will work cross-functionally with managers and team members across the company. You will be embedded with an experienced operations team that will train you, mentor you, and give you real ownership over the work. This role is built for someone who wants to start in operations and grow into analytics and who wants to do it inside a company that actually invests in the people who show up hungry.
What You Will Do
- Keep operations moving: Maintain daily tracking sheets and monitor form submissions, notifications, and outstanding items across operational workflows.
- Support onboarding end-to-end: This includes drafting offer letters, processing background authorizations and Checkr requests, coordinating equipment setup, and build and maintain BambooHR profiles.
- Run DocuSign workflows: Build templates, document delivery, and signature tracking.
- Build and maintain templates: Create and maintain templates, "how-to" guides, and reference documents that keep internal processes consistent and scalable.
- Company Logistics: Track and maintain equipment inventory, place supply orders, support employee badge requests, support merchandise orders and distribution, and manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Tracking trends: Track operational data, analyze outputs across projects and company-wide initiatives, surfacing insights that help the operations team make informed decisions. This is where you grow.
- Connect the dots: Communicate consistently with team members across the company to keep documentation, tracking systems, and keep internal processes organized and up to date.
Who You Are
- High school diploma or equivalent; this is an entry-level role; we are hiring for aptitude and attitude, not a resume file of titles.
- Comfortable working across both Microsoft Office (particularly Word) and Google Workspace (especially Sheets, Forms, and Drive).
- Genuinely being comfortable with data: ability to organize, track, and identify patterns within information stored in spreadsheets.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and organized, has the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing track of the details.
What Sets Strong Candidates Apart
- Prior exposure to operational systems, onboarding processes, or coordination through internships, coursework, or part-time work.
- Familiarity with DocuSign, BambooHR, or similar document and HR workflow platforms.
- Comfort with Google Sheets functions (formulas, pivot tables, basic data analysis) and a real interest in growing analytical skills.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly in creating clear documentation and reference guides.
- Integrity, attention to detail, and the judgment to flag issues early and escalate when appropriate.

Tools & Systems You Will Use
- Workflow: Google Workspace (primarily Sheets, Forms, and Drive) for tracking, data intake, document organization, and overall workflow management.
- Documents: Microsoft Word for creating and maintaining templates and formal documentation.
- Signatures: DocuSign for template management, document delivery, and signature workflows.
- People: BambooHR for maintaining employee documents and profiles.
Training & Mentorship
We do not throw people in the deep in and hope. C2 Group provides structured onboarding for this role, combining hands-on systems training with direct mentorship from our operations team. You will shadow experienced team members, learn our processes and documentation standards, and ramp up gradually across operational coordination, tracking, and analytics support. Our operations leadership continues to invest in your development well beyond week one.

Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $24–$28 per hour (depending on experience), approximately $50K–$58K annually.

Work Schedule and Location
Location: San Diego, CA: C2 Group headquarters
Work Type: Full-time, in-office. You will be embedded with the operations team, so daily on-site presence is part of how you learn and grow.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with occasional flexibility to meet operational deadlines or onboarding cycles.
