Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Repair/Handyman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Repair and patch drywall surfaces, including mudding, taping, texturing, and finishing to restore wall integrity and appearance
- Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precise measurements and alignment
- Conduct water damage restoration by assessing affected areas, removing damaged materials, and applying appropriate repairs
- Apply caulking, plastering, stucco, or masonry techniques to enhance finishes or repair exterior surfaces
- Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, flooring, tiles, or other components according to project plans while adhering to safety protocols
- Follow construction safety regulations diligently during all phases of work to maintain a secure environment on-site
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on drywall installation and repair in residential or commercial settings
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe job site
- Hands-on experience using hand tools (such as drills, saws, trowels) and power tools necessary for drywall work and general repairs
- Background in related trades such as carpentry, plastering, masonry or remodeling is highly desirable
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or water damage remediation is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple projects efficiently
