We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pizza maker to join us at the opening of Masani Pizza in Forest Hills, NY opened by @foodbabyny, @mikejchau, and @alexlchau.
As a Pizza maker, you will be the heart of our kitchen, crafting high-quality pizzas. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, attention to detail, and culinary expertise will ensure every pizza meets your standards of excellence.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
- Handle food preparation tasks such as dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning with precision and care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations, following food safety protocols
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new toppings or specialty pizzas to enhance customer offerings
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to promote safety and hygiene in the kitchen
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experience to guests in a timely manner
- Support catering orders and special events by preparing large quantities of pizza efficiently while maintaining quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or culinary setting
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety standards
- Experience working in the food industry with an emphasis on kitchen operations
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques specific to pizza making
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience with catering or serving large groups is a plus
