Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a growing global manufacturing company in the Laurens, SC area, is seeking a CNC Setup Technician / Fanuc Robotics Technician to join their team! CNC Setup Technician / Fanuc Robotics Job Summary:
- Pay: $19+ an hour DOE
- Overtime available
- Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
- 2nd Shift: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
- Set up and operate CNC machining centers, including lathes and mills
- Operate and troubleshoot Fanuc robotic systems
- Support production launches and continuous improvement initiatives
- Read blueprints, engineering drawings, measurement reports, and routers
- Perform setup verification and quality inspections
- Support preventative maintenance activities
- Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams
- Assist with process improvements and cycle time optimization
- Maintain safety, quality, and 5S standards
CNC Setup Technician / Fanuc Robotics Qualifications:
- 3+ years of CNC setup, operation, or programming experience preferred
- Previous Fanuc robotics experience is preferred but not required
- Fanuc troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience with CNC tooling, offsets, fixtures, and setup adjustments is preferred
- Manufacturing or automated production experience is preferred
- Must be technically minded and willing to learn new manufacturing technologies
- Must be comfortable working a 12-hour shift and significant overtime
