We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced A-Level Automotive Technician who wants steady hours, takes pride in working hard, and is committed to continuing to learn and grow.
This position is for a true problem-solver—not someone who simply replaces parts. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, can accurately identify the root cause of complex problems, and is capable of completing major repairs, including engine and transmission assembly replacement.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns
- Identify root causes and recommend accurate, cost-effective repairs
- Perform major repairs, including engine and transmission replacement
- Complete repairs correctly, efficiently, and on schedule
- Verify repairs through proper testing and quality-control procedures
- Clearly document diagnostic findings and completed work
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
- Continue developing technical knowledge through training and hands-on experience
- Work well with service advisors, technicians, and the rest of the shop team
Qualifications
- Professional automotive repair experience at the A-Level Technician level
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience replacing engines and transmission assemblies
- Knowledge of modern vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to use scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and service information
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Dependable, self-motivated, and ready to work
- Valid driver’s license
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required
