Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional food service to our guests.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
- Assist in food preparation by cleaning and cutting vegetables or other ingredients as directed by the culinary team.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
