Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
- Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address pain management and promote overall wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and the benefits of regular massage therapy.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Uphold a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients at all times.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health principles.
- Experience in providing exceptional patient service and customer care.
- Familiarity with various massage techniques, particularly deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Previous experience in a med spa setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
