Director of Salon & Spa Operations

About the Role
This is a leadership position for someone who loves managing multiple moving pieces while creating an exceptional experience for both guests and service providers. You'll be the operational heartbeat of the business—supporting daily salon and spa operations, driving revenue opportunities, overseeing front desk excellence, coordinating schedules, managing technology systems, and helping our team perform at its highest level.
The ideal candidate is a natural multitasker with strong business instincts, exceptional organizational skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.

- Experienced in retail, hospitality, beauty, wellness, luxury service, or other customer-focused industries
- Revenue-minded and excited about growing bookings, retail sales, client retention, and overall business performance
- Professional, polished, and confident managing both people and processes
Qualifications
- 10+ years of leadership, operations, client service, hospitality, retail management, administrative management, or business operations experience
- Previous salon, spa, med spa, wellness, or beauty industry experience required
- Proven ability to manage multiple schedules, priorities, and personalities simultaneously
- Experience with scheduling, CRM, POS, or business management software
- Strong understanding of guest experience, service-based businesses, and retail sales
- Experience supporting both commission-based and independent contractor environments preferred
- Marketing and social media experience is a plus
- Available to start immediately
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Team Support
- Oversee day-to-day salon and spa operations to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Coordinate provider schedules, room utilization, and appointment flow
- Support stylists, spa providers, renters, and front desk team members
- Create systems and processes that improve efficiency and organization
Guest Experience
- Deliver a luxury-level experience from first contact through post-service follow-up
- Resolve client concerns professionally and proactively
- Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements that strengthen loyalty and retention
Business Growth & Revenue
- Help drive service bookings, retail sales, memberships, packages, and promotional initiatives
- Monitor key business metrics and identify opportunities for growth
- Partner with ownership on operational and revenue strategies
Technology & Administration
- Manage scheduling, client records, reporting, and communication systems
- Utilize salon software, POS systems, and SaaS platforms to improve efficiency
- Maintain accurate records, inventory levels, and operational reporting
Marketing & Brand Support
- Assist with social media coordination, promotions, and client engagement initiatives
- Support local marketing efforts and community outreach
- Help ensure brand standards are consistently maintained throughout the guest journey
