Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our food service team. In this role, you will excel as meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food, has some experience in food service or culinary settings, and is eager to learn more about dietary and kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and assembling meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Support food preparation tasks, including slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food production processes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by following cleaning schedules and adhering to food safety standards.
- Help with food handling procedures to ensure proper storage, sanitation, and safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
- Follow safety standards in production, including proper use of equipment and adherence to health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in Pizzerias, or itiliain restaurants is preferred but not mandatory.
- Food service or restaurant experience that includes meal preparation and food handling skills.
- Knowledge of recipe adherence, and catering procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with kitchen safety standards, including safe operation of equipment and knife skills.
- Experience working in the food industry or culinary environments demonstrating good hygiene practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members regarding food preparation and safety protocols.
