Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and oral health assessments for patients

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care

Assist in the management of patient medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations

Conduct periodontal assessments and charting, documenting findings accurately in medical records
Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice

Experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable

Knowledge of infection control procedures and best practices

Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
