Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production CNC Operator.In this role, you will operate and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery to produce high-quality parts efficiently and accurately. Your expertise will help ensure seamless production processes, uphold safety standards, and meet our quality expectations.Lathe and mill experience required. Good mechanical skills, ability to use calipers, micrometers gauges and calipers Must be able to do own setups, tool changes and offsets. This is a production cnc position. Must have good attendance and able to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other industrial equipment to produce precision components.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate machining according to specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling machinery such as press brake machines, stamping presses, and fabrication tools.
- Maintain accurate production logs, documentation, and reports for traceability and quality control purposes.
- Assist with tooling setup and changeovers on various equipment including Fanuc-controlled machines and CAM programming systems
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawing interpretation.
- Familiarity with CNC programming languages such as G-code or M-code; experience with CAM programming is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of shop math, fabrication processes, tooling setup, and industrial equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints accurately using precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments; commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
- Warehouse experience or materials handling skills are advantageous.
- Basic computer skills; experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is beneficial.
- Valid certification or training in forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory.
1st shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
