We are hiring for our Sacramento location.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide world-class customer service to every customer.
Become a retail expert in all products and service offerings by participating in ongoing training. (We will train.)
Work closely with co-workers and managers to ensure quality customer experience while maximizing revenues for business.
Keep store neat and clean.
Ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking customers is a plus.
Our starting wage is $17/hour.

Since we pack and ship for customers, an applicant must be able to lift packages of up to 50 pounds. We serve our customers standing at the counters. (No stools/chairs.)
We do require all employees to pass a criminal background check and become a California Notary Public and a Certified Fingerprinting (LiveScan) technician within the first 90 days of employment.
***There is a 3 month probationary period. Obtaining a Notary License in that period is required to clear probationary period***

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shipping, mailing, and retail product needs using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Conduct product demonstrations and upsell additional services or merchandise to enhance customer experience.
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately, including cashiering and balancing registers at the end of shifts.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure a clean and inviting store environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Perform notary public duties by verifying identities, witnessing signatures, and completing official documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
- Support store operations through stocking supplies, managing inventory levels, and assisting with product demos to promote sales.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Supervising experience or leadership skills to assist team members effectively.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience in upselling products or services to maximize sales opportunities.
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales best practices.
- Excellent phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone professionally.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous.
