NOW HIRING: CONTROLLER Southeastern Massachusetts | Marine Industry
A well-established and growing marine business in Southeastern Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and ideally has prior experience within the marine industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations and related staff
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
- Coordinate with external CPA firms and tax professionals
- Oversee payroll, sales tax filings, and general ledger activity
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
- Assist ownership with financial reporting and strategic planning
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Prior Controller or senior-level accounting experience preferred
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- Marine industry background highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Marine business software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with inventory management and job costing is a plus
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
