Our menu evolves, our cider list is constantly changing, and we're looking for a Head Chef who is excited to innovate, lead, and build something special alongside an enthusiastic team.

What You'll Do
As Head Chef, you'll oversee all kitchen operations while helping shape the culinary direction of Cider Lab.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a positive, high-performing kitchen team
- Creating seasonal specials and innovative menu items that pair with our rotating craft ciders
- Maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation
- Managing food costs, inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Creating prep schedules and kitchen workflows that maximize efficiency
- Ensuring food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance
- Hiring, training, and scheduling kitchen staff
- Collaborating with ownership and management on promotions, events, and menu development
- Maintaining equipment and helping improve kitchen systems and processes
- Working the line during service and leading by example

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of kitchen leadership experience (Head Chef, Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager)
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Experience with inventory management and food cost control
- Ability to multitask while maintaining high quality standards
- Weekend and evening availability
- Culinary education is appreciated but not required—we value talent, leadership, and passion.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
