Overview
Cutters Foam Fabricating, Inc. a polyurethane foam fabricator is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled entry level Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our engineering team. You will work closely with our team to develop products, build samples, and aid our production team in how to manufacture products. Candidates must have a high school diploma (or GED), possess AutoCAD experience, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. Salary based on these overall qualifications.
Duties
- Assist with creating and editing drawings using AutoCAD.
- Maintain organized files and records for engineering projects, ensuring easy access to information.
- Build and fabricate prototypes, components, and systems according to specifications.
- Document/Process all change actions timely, accurately and according to customer needs.
- Program CNC machines.
- Provide outstanding customer service. Both internally and externally by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns related to engineering projects.
- Proofread document for accuracy and clarity before final submission.
- Collaborate with team to ensure project milestones are met on time.
Qualifications
- Must have AutoCAD experience.
- Must be able to read tape measure.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid mathematical skills for calculations related to engineering tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
- Strong mathematical background.
