Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of our licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality therapeutic interventions, monitor patient progress, and help create an encouraging environment for recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Accurately document patient progress, treatments performed, and response to care in EMR (WebPT)
- Maintain equipment and ensure treatment areas are clean, safe, and organized
- Collaborate with PTs, aides, and front office staff to ensure continuity of care
- Assist with patient scheduling and clinic flow as needed
Qualifications
- Active California PTA license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate patients
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred, but new grads welcome to apply
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred - many of our patients are Spanish-speaking

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
