The New York Athletic Club has set the standard in hospitality since its founding in 1868. After a multi-million dollar renovation, the NYAC is debuting Manhattan’s newest rooftop experience. The Solarium will provide an upscale casual dining and cocktails experience with sweeping views in an unrivaled setting. This is an opportunity for seasoned fine dining professionals to bring to life one of New York City's most stunning spaces.
We are looking for an experienced busser with exposure to fast-paced fine dining environments. The ideal candidate will communicate proactively with servers and culinary teams to ensure faultless table service for our Members and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Carries dirty dishes from dining rooms to kitchen. Wipes table tops and chairs with damp cloth.
Replaces soiled table linens and sets tables with silverware and glassware.
Replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in Rooftop Solarium.
Supplies service bar with food such as soups, salads, and desserts.
Serves ice water, bread and butter to our members/guests.
Cleans and polishes glass shelves and doors of service bars, and equipment such as coffee urns and creamers.
Makes coffee and fills fruit juice dispensers.
Sweeps and mops floors.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to adhere to a strict schedule. Must be able to work in a fine dining fast paced environment.
Other duties may be assigned.
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
