Duties
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing campaigns to educate voters about candidates, policies, or initiatives
- Engage community members through face-to-face conversations, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Distribute campaign materials and informational flyers in various neighborhoods
- Collect feedback and voter preferences to assist campaign strategy and outreach efforts
- Organize and participate in community events to boost campaign visibility
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, voter responses, and locations visited
- Collaborate with team members to meet outreach goals and ensure consistent messaging across all activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in canvassing, field sales, or outdoor outreach activities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to reach broader communities
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team
- Previous customer service or telemarketing experience preferred for handling inquiries confidently
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels
- Excellent negotiation skills to persuade and motivate community members toward campaign goals
