We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Patrol Guard to uphold the safety and security of our premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, monitoring security systems, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your proactive approach will ensure a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. This position requires a confident individual with strong law enforcement awareness, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness. All duties are performed in compliance with security regulations, emphasizing safety, customer service, and incident prevention.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility using foot or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and access control systems to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches, following established emergency response procedures
- Perform thorough inspections of personnel, vehicles, and packages to ensure compliance with security policies
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities for record-keeping and future reference
- Manage access control by verifying identities and authorizations of visitors, contractors, and employees using manual checks or electronic systems
- Utilize conflict management techniques and conflict de-escalation skills to handle disputes or unruly individuals effectively while maintaining safety
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems
- Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and firearm handling is highly desirable
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary
- Strong understanding of security regulations, compliance standards, and emergency response procedures
- Excellent communication skills for incident report writing and customer service interactions
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, patrol large areas on foot or by vehicle, and perform heavy lifting when required
