Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ALF Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional assisted living care to residents. In this vital role, you will support seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting a warm, respectful environment. Responsibilities
- Manage vacant rooms by preparing them through the turnover process so rooms are ready to lease to new prospects.
- Keep the ground free of debris and trash.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents.
- Ensure all aspects of daily life promote and embrace resident self-determination and personal choice.
- Support care team in service delivery as needed: ADL’s, medications, and meal service.
- Provide activities to residents as assigned, assist with activity calendar development, and encourage resident participation.
- Ensure and maintain clean, orderly, and welcoming living space for residents.
- Provide personal care, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, transferring residents or changing diapers as needed.
- Assist the resident with continued care plan prescribed by residents’ medical team as needed.
- Assist/ Supervise with the use of devices for aid with daily living such as, walkers, wheelchair, bedside commode, cane, braces, etc.
- Report changes in the residents’ conditions and/or needs immediately to the administrator so that further instructions can be given, as applicable.
- Maintain complete records and reports in accordance with the facilities polices.
- Engage residents in social activities and behavioral management strategies to promote mental well-being and community involvement
