Direct Support Professional
A sign-on incentive of up to $1000!
$500 after 90 days of employment, and an additional $500 at one year.
The DSP starting base wage is $17-$19/hr.
Location: China
- Hours: Provide support to a young adult male at his home and in the community. Hours available Friday night or weekends. Flexible schedule, 8-10 hours per week.

Affinity's BHPs and DSPs provide in-home and community support to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs and BHPs work one-on-one and in a group setting with an individual(s) on challenging behaviors, social skills, personal care, daily living skills, and community integration. Affinity provides employment in a day program or home/community based setting. We do not have residential programs or provide overnight support.
Affinity's range of pay is based on the actual current employees for the DSP position is $17-$25 per hour.

Job Requirements:
- Good driving record and reliable transportation with valid inspection/registration.
- Vehicle insurance liability requirements of $100,000/$300,000.
- Ability to complete BHP training within one year from the date of hire and DSP training within six months of hire.
- Positive attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to complete online documentation using several computer applications and systems. This will require the use of a smartphone and GPS enabling.
- Organized.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Education Requirements:
- Over age 18 with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Preference is given to those applicants with BHP or DSP certification or experience working with children.
