American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment requiring a minimum of 3 years of recent OR experience, with proficiency across multiple surgical specialties including Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS.

Hospital-based Operating Room setting

Staff are expected to work across a variety of surgical specialty areas, including Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gynecology, and Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS)

Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

On-call required: weekday call runs 6:30 PM–7:00 AM; weekend call runs Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM

40-minute response time required for on-call

Call is assigned on a rotating basis; the first 6-week schedule includes 2–3 weekday call shifts, and the following 6-week period includes one weekend call block

Active KY or compact RN license required — must be in hand at time of consideration (no licensure hits accepted)

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience required

Level 1 trauma OR experience desired

Experience with Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gynecology, and MIS procedures required

2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position

Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a travel nurse

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration — RTO requests submitted after that point will not be approved
