Class E Driver/Direct Care
Center for Developmentally Disabled (CDD) / Rainbow Center is a private, not-for-profit corporation founded in 1972. CDD provides residential care services and day habilitation to adults with developmental disabilities in the greater Kansas City, MO area.

We are seeking a Community Access Driver to provide transportation services for developmentally disabled individuals. The Community Access Driver will be responsible for safely transporting individuals to and from various community activities and events as well as work within the program as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and reliable transportation services for developmentally disabled individuals
- Assist individuals with entering and exiting the vehicle
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and staff
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of mileage and services provided
Requirements
- Valid Class E driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent
Class E driver's License
