Driving Instructor – Miami Driving School
We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and experienced Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching students how to operate a vehicle safely, confidently, and responsibly while creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
We are looking for a mature, dependable, patient, and responsible individual with excellent communication skills and extensive driving experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behind-the-wheel driving lessons for students of various ages and skill levels.
- Teach safe driving practices, Florida traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and proper vehicle operation.
- Adapt instruction to each student's individual learning style, experience, and needs.
- Evaluate student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Help students develop confidence, awareness, and safe decision-making skills behind the wheel.
- Maintain a professional, patient, and positive learning environment at all times.
- Ensure the training vehicle is operated safely and responsibly.
- Collaborate with other instructors and management to maintain Miami Driving School's standards of instruction and customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Bilingual – English and Spanish required.
- Extensive driving experience and strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Mature, responsible, patient, punctual, and dependable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with teenagers, adults, beginners, and students from diverse backgrounds.
- Previous teaching, coaching, or instructional experience is preferred.
- Must be comfortable working one-on-one with students inside a vehicle.
- Candidates located in or near the Kendall area are strongly preferred.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, is a plus.
