Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry
- Apply color theory principles to select perfect shades and create eye-catching designs tailored to each client’s preferences
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by properly sterilizing tools and following health regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively to client needs, offering style recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience
- Upsell additional services such as nail enhancements, body waxing, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and revenue
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, color combinations, and techniques through continuous learning
- Manage retail sales of nail products and accessories while demonstrating strong retail math skills to maximize sales opportunities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nail Artist or similar role with a strong portfolio of nail designs and artistry skills
- Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and sanitation protocols essential for safe practice
- Certification in cosmetology or related beauty fields preferred; relevant licenses required where applicable
- Familiarity with additional beauty services such as hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and understand their desired look
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong retail sales skills combined with upselling abilities to promote complementary services and products
