Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the campus. Beyond traditional custodial tasks, this position will also engage in tasks such as minor landscaping, light HVAC maintenance, and assisting with inventory counts. This position will be versatile with a proactive commitment to ensuring a welcoming environment.
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies.
Works with the Alzheimer’s Services team to ensure that the client areas are always clean and well-presented.
Empty all trash containers and garbage cans daily.
Maintains the grounds by picking up trash and organizing outside storage areas and patios.
Assist with minor repairs and maintenance work as needed, such as painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks (training provided).
Assist with inventory management and procurement processes as required.
Uphold safety and security protocols and may include locking up facilities at the end of the day.
Reports any major repair needs to management, to attend, schedule, and/or complete any large repairs.
Assist with meal delivery when needed.
Other duties as assigned by management.
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, write, and communicate instructions in English effectively is required.
Janitorial or maintenance experience preferred.
Strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
Must have reliable, personal vehicle and a valid Driver’s License, good driving record, and applicable insurance coverage required by the company policy.
Team player with the ability to work independently.
