Job Overview
RF Valves is looking for a Regional Sales Manager residing in the Western US to join our innovative and growing team. The Western RSM will represent RF Valve’s Pinch, Knife Gate, and Air Release Valve product lines in both the Industrial and Municipal markets. The focus will be to maintain existing customer base as well as increase the sales of RF Valves by building relationships, creating awareness, hiring, and training both new and existing representatives. Success will be measured by the ability to grow sales within the given territory as well as creating new leads, opportunities, and brand awareness.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage all sales activities within California, Oregon, Idaho, Washington State, Nevada, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii.
- Drive revenue by working with existing contractual Representatives.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders with impactful sales visits, training sessions, and other valuable touch points.
- Seek new opportunities to maximize RF Valves position in the market building relationships with potential new customers and Representatives.
- Develop business plans to drive growth with existing Representatives
- Effectively collaborate with existing Representatives to develop and maintain sales leads and current customer bases.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to features, functions, and benefits of RF Valve Products.
- Forecast & document all sales related activity in Salesforce.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven background in sales, sales management – 5 years minimum
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new sales channels
- Solid in person communicator but also through email
- Marketing/sales planning and strategy development, positioning, competitive analysis, prospecting & closing skills, technical understanding, market knowledge, listening, analyzing information, teaching skills
- Solid math and financial understanding
- Excellent attention to detail
- Windows Office & ERP software environments.
- Salesforce knowledge is a plus
- Position would be WFH with travel as needed. Up to 50% travel

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
