CycleBar Castro Valley is looking for an energetic and outgoing Front Desk & Membership Sales Associate (CBX) to join our studio team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, working in a fun and fast-paced environment, and earning additional income through membership sales and performance incentives.
You'll be one of the first people our riders meet when they walk through the door—helping new riders feel welcome, getting members ready for class, and creating the upbeat experience that keeps our community coming back.
No cycling experience is required. Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, fitness, or sales is a plus.
What You'll Do
Create an Amazing Rider Experience
- Greet members and first-time riders and make them feel welcome.
- Check riders into class and help new guests get comfortable in the studio.
- Build genuine relationships with members and contribute to a positive, high-energy community.
- Work alongside instructors and studio management to deliver a five-star experience.
Help Grow Our Membership
- Talk with prospective members about CycleBar memberships, class packages, and promotions.
- Help first-time riders find the membership or package that best fits their needs.
- Follow up with prospective and existing members by phone, text, and email.
- Contribute toward studio membership goals while earning uncapped commission and performance incentives.
Keep the Studio Looking Its Best
- Prepare and reset the studio before and between classes.
- Wipe down bikes, organize equipment, restock supplies, and maintain the cycling room.
- Keep the front desk, lobby, restrooms, and common areas clean, organized, and guest-ready.
- Process retail purchases and help maintain merchandise displays.
- Support studio events, themed rides, promotions, and community outreach.

- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable starting conversations with new people.
- Dependable and able to bring positive energy to every shift.
- Great at customer service and communicating in person, by phone, text, and email.
- Comfortable recommending memberships and asking for the sale.
- Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and mobile apps.
- Willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
- Available to work a flexible part-time schedule, including early morning, evenings and weekends.
- Able to remain on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, fitness, front desk, or sales is preferred but not required.
