Position Overview
Quality Coatings & Tile is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Specialty Floor Installer to join our growing team. This role focuses on installing specialty floor coatings and materials for commercial and residential clients. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with a team, and understands the importance of delivering a professional experience to every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Install specialty floor systems including coatings, overlays, and other custom flooring materials
- Prepare surfaces properly through cleaning, grinding, patching, and moisture mitigation as required
- Assist customers on job sites by answering basic questions and maintaining a professional presence
- Work collaboratively with crew members to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Handle and apply specialty materials according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Assist with job setup, material handling, and cleanup
- Represent Quality Coatings & Tile positively on every project
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in flooring, coatings, construction, or related trades preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift materials as required
- Willingness to learn new products, systems, and installation techniques
- Valid driver’s license required
