Position Summary
CW Waste is a growing company looking for full-time second shift roll-off drivers. Second shift hours are 4PM-2AM. Earn a $400 signing bonus after 90 days—reliable attendance is required to qualify. Our roll-off drivers are responsible for safe operation and providing prompt, courteous, and complete services for customers. In addition, drivers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle complies with the company’s safety standards and that they meet all company, state, and federal regulations. Drivers are responsible for completing daily vehicle inspection reports (“DVIRs”) and to report any vehicle defects in a timely manner. Experience with compactors would be beneficial but not required.
Principal Responsibilities
- Perform complete pre-operation inspection of the vehicle according to Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order
- Safely operate heavy truck along designated route and to the disposal site
- Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers, and others
- Continually monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable materials
- Clean area around any accidental waste spill, adhering to all applicable safety standards and policies
- Continuously monitor vehicle condition to minimize downtime
- Follow safety policies and procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with air brakes endorsement
- Ability to operate a vehicle with Manual Transmission
- Two years of driving experience with Roll Off experience
- United States work authorization
