Community Trainer – Jasmine Site
Innovative Business Partnerships, Inc. is dedicated to fostering community integration, personal independence, and functional growth for individuals with developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Trainer to join our team at our Jasmine Site.
In this role, you will do more than instruct; you will be an advocate for the individuals we serve. The Jasmine Site specializes in supporting clients with higher medical support needs, requiring a unique blend of instruction and hands-on, compassionate physical care.
Your Impact
- Facilitate Growth: Implement personalized Community Training Plans (CTPs) to help clients reach their unique developmental milestones.
- Provide Holistic Care: Deliver essential hands-on assistance—including feeding, toileting, and diapering—with a continuous focus on maintaining client dignity and comfort.
- Ensure Integrity: Maintain precise, timely documentation and clinical records, upholding the highest standards of administrative compliance.
What You Bring
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience (professional or personal) in a community-based instruction role or supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. (Note: Experience limited to late-onset conditions such as Alzheimer’s or dementia does not qualify for this position._)_
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word for effective documentation and reporting.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional empathy, patience, and a proactive, creative approach to behavioral support.
- Certification: Valid in-person CPR/First Aid certification is required. We proudly fund and provide all renewals post-hire.
- Professionalism: Proven ability to multitask effectively and work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
