Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food prep areas, dining zones, and kitchen equipment
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling
- Assist with food safety management practices by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Support food industry standards by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a sanitized environment
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Background in food preparation, culinary tasks, or kitchen experience is beneficial
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations and cash handling accuracy
- Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and operating kitchen equipment enhances your fit for this role
