Senior Payroll Specialist to provide coverage during a leave of absence.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$35/hr - $40/hr
Position Overview:
The Senior Payroll Specialist will provide coverage during a leave of absence. This position is expected to last 1-2 months, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level payroll professional with strong multi-state and global payroll experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn new processes and systems.
Responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Specialist:
- Process and support payroll activities across multiple states and international locations.
- Assist with global payroll, including Canada, Aruba, and shadow payroll.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Review payroll information and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist with payroll tax-related activities and compliance.
- Work closely with the People & Culture team to ensure accurate employee payroll information.
- Support benefits-related payroll activities as needed.
- Learn and adapt to company processes and payroll systems quickly.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive payroll information.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Payroll Specialist:
- Senior-level payroll experience.
- Experience with multi-state payroll.
- Experience with global/international payroll, including Canada and/or Aruba.
- Familiarity with shadow payroll.
- Strong understanding of payroll taxes and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly learn new processes.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the People & Culture team.
- SAP experience.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Payroll Specialist:
- UKG payroll experience strongly preferred.
- Benefits administration/payroll experience.
- Additional international payroll experience.
- Experience working in a global organization.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Equivalent payroll experience will be considered.
