American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Oncology/Diabetes unit position in Hermitage, TN, requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience and a TN or Compact RN license.

Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
13-week travel contract
-
Oncology/Diabetes unit in a hospital setting (6th Floor)
-
33-bed unit with patient ratios of 6:1 on days and 7:1 on nights
-
Unit is staffed with 3 techs per shift; unit secretary available on day shift
-
Equipment used includes IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs
-
EMR: Meditech
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating to other appropriate areas on a rotation basis when needed
-
Active TN or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

ONC (Oncology Nursing Certification) required for all RNs working in Oncology

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
-
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required if currently licensed in Florida or Missouri)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
