We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker with an active CRMA certification. to provide essential support and personalized care to individuals with diverse needs. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Support individuals with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, through personalized engagement and behavior management techniques
- Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Document care activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems accurately and promptly
- Support residents' social activities and foster a positive environment through engaging conversations and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces
- Drive residents when necessary for appointments or outings, ensuring safety at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic first aid certification is required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is advantageous
- Ability to lift safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physical stamina to perform caregiving tasks throughout shifts
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Valid driver’s license for driving responsibilities; clean driving record preferred
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to safety protocols consistently

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
