Job Title: Commercial HVAC Service Technician III
Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX
Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time
Pay: Up to $44/hour DOE + Company Truck
Job Summary
We are seeking two experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to join a well-established mechanical contractor serving the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This is a great opportunity for technicians who enjoy working independently, building customer relationships, and servicing a wide variety of commercial HVAC equipment. The company primarily services healthcare facilities, office buildings, and other commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and service agreement work.
- Service a variety of commercial equipment including RTUs, split systems, VRF/VRV systems, air handlers, VAVs, fan-powered boxes, exhaust fans, cooling towers, CRAC units, and air-cooled chillers.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and system testing.
- Complete demand service calls and quoted repair projects.
- Communicate professionally with customers and explain repairs performed.
- Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment.
- Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Approximately 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience (more experienced technicians encouraged to apply).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience servicing RTUs and a variety of commercial HVAC systems.
- Universal EPA Certification required.
- Technical school or HVAC degree preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.

Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation
- Typical workweek of 40-60 hours depending on workload
