Job Description:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, inventory is maintained properly, and the warehouse operates safely and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks safely and efficiently.

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy.

Pick, pack, palletize, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup.

Stock inventory and maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse.

Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks and pallet movers.

Assist customers and drivers at the warehouse pickup counter in a professional and courteous manner.

Process customer and vendor Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).

Participate in inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.

Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

Work closely with warehouse and office personnel to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Experience and Requirements:

Previous warehouse experience required.

HVAC distribution or construction supply experience is highly preferred.

Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified).

Ability to safely lift and move boxes averaging 10-30 lbs.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Dependable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.

Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Basic computer skills are a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
