Job Summary:
Courtyard by Marriott Chicago O’Hare is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our hospitality team. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all guests by ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Marriott brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
- Replace linens, towels, and guest amenities
- Restock housekeeping carts and maintain organized work areas
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost items to management
- Ensure guest privacy and security at all times
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, elevators, and other assigned public areas
- Follow hotel safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
