Duties
- Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions across various subjects, including core academics and specialized areas such as special education or early childhood education
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials and lesson plans to meet individual student needs and learning styles
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional effectiveness and engagement
- Manage classroom dynamics to create a supportive, respectful, and productive environment for learners of all ages
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and caregivers to support holistic student development and address specific challenges
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and instructional activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or classroom management across diverse age groups and educational settings
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning techniques
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and digital educational resources
- Experience working with children, including preschool or early childhood education settings; experience with special education is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and foster an inclusive learning environment
