Residential Garage Door Technician (Entry Level – Paid Training)
Location: Citrus Heights, CA & Surrounding Areas (On the Road)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Temporary
$18–$25 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are hiring a dependable and hardworking Residential Garage Door Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and opener systems at residential job sites throughout Citrus Heights and surrounding areas.
No prior garage door experience is required — we provide paid, hands-on training for the right candidate. If you have construction, mechanical, or handyman experience and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and service residential garage doors and opener systems
Perform garage door and operator installations safely and accurately
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Load, transport, and lift garage door materials and equipment
Work on ladders while wearing a tool belt
Maintain a clean, organized job site
Provide professional, customer-friendly service on every job
Requirements (Must Have)
✅ Valid driver’s license
✅ Reliable transportation
✅ Ability to perform physical work (lifting 75+ lbs, ladder work, tools daily)
✅ Comfortable working on ladders and at heights
✅ Strong work ethic and reliability — must show up on time and ready to work
✅ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling, or handyman services
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read basic diagrams or technical instructions
