Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally, performing repairs, and maintaining a safe environment for all employees.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
- Utilize all vendors for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ground maintenance and snow removal
- All repairs for all facilities on Walton Home Campus and owned properties.
- Oversee residential painting projects to maintain aesthetics and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and clients regarding maintenance issues.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production needs through effective maintenance solutions.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
- Proficient in electrical systems with the ability to troubleshoot using an ohmmeter.
- Experience in supervising maintenance teams or projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Familiarity with customer service principles to effectively address client needs.
