Job Summary/Basic Function:
Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.
Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part-time basis.
- Reports to the Division Chair of Mathematics and Sciences
- Teaches chemistry courses and labs using traditional and alternative delivery methods to assist students to master concepts. Example courses are: Applied Instrument Analysis, Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry and associated labs.

All laboratory curricula and assessments are designed and evaluated by faculty holding a master’s degree or higher.
