Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficientlly
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and proper dosage
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and health management
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
- Perform and/or oversee basic pharmaceutical compounding as needed
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff as needed
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
Requirements
- Valid California pharmacist license.
