Must-haves
- The candidate should be able to perform the following tasks:
- Overhaul pumps
- Remove and replace valves
- Maintain and repair vertical package conveyors
- Service refrigeration doors
- Repair hydraulic actuators
- Maintain laundry and portable hot water heaters
- Ship/boat experience.
- 2-3 years of experience for first level.
- 4-5 years of experience for second level.
- 6+ years of experience for third level.
Plusses:
- Military or Marine experience.
- Shipyard experience.
Day-to-Day
Insight Global is seeking a Shipyard Mechanic who will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on various shipboard machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field but open to anyone that has 2+ years.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $31.00 per hour
