Position: Litigation Secretary
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Mid-Wilshire, onsite for the first 6 months, then potential to pivot to 1-2 days remote/week)
Pay: $80,000 to $104,000 annually
Experience: 3+ years of experience to provide litigation support.
Education: High school diploma or GED; Associate's/Bachelor's degree, preferred.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (40-hour week)
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Litigation Secretary to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:

Support multiple attorneys with preparing complex legal documents for filing/eFiling in State and Federal courts.
- Document production and proofreading/editing correspondence, interaction/communication with clients, courts, and attorneys.
- Provide administrative assistance with file management, coordinating multiple calendars/appointments, arranging travel, and preparing expense reimbursements and itineraries.
Position Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), commonly used DMS (iManage preferred), and attorney timekeeping systems (Coyote preferred).
- Proficient with Adobe Acrobat (create, edit, format, and convert documents).

Extensive experience with e-filing and court rules and civil procedures in State and Federal jurisdictions.
- Transactional law and administrative hearing knowledge are a plus.
- Experience with JuraLaw (legal calendaring) strongly preferred.
- Proactive, highly responsible, and accountable.
Excellent attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information, and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
