Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled handy man/maintenance person to join our team at a private mobile home community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role involves performing repairs, and maintaining a safe working environment and the appearance of our community. Janitorial, outdoor park and indoor cleaning experience required. Basic janitorial experience needed for cleaning of common areas and indoor areas of the park.
Duties
- Perform general repairs and maintenance on home lots and community infrastructure.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Engage in residential painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with residents or team members.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify repair needs.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
- Work with property manager to prioritize work orders and projects.
- Keep a clean and organized maintenance area/ workrooms.
Experience
- Proven experience in general maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Ability to operate basic tools and machinery (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, hand tools).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish for effective interaction with team members and community residents.

- Reliable transportation and valid CA driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather.
- 24 and older
- Fluent in English and Spanish
