Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and support in various settings, including assisted living facilities and private homes. Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Monitor and document vital signs as needed, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation.
- Support individuals with dementia care, employing techniques that enhance their comfort and safety.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions.
- Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy and promoting independence.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create tailored care plans that meet individual needs.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation as required.
Skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
- Experience in assisted living or caregiving environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques to effectively support clients with cognitive impairments.
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs.
- Strong observational skills for monitoring patient health and behavior changes.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to advocating for clients' needs.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
