American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown/PCU position requiring 2+ years of experience, ACLS certification, and a KY or compact RN license.

34-bed Stepdown/PCU unit in a hospital setting

Patient ratio of 1:5
-
Charting performed in Meditech EMR
-
Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Every other weekend required
-
Floating required within scope of practice

Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Active RN license in KY or a compact state currently in hand

Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 2 years of current Stepdown/PCU experience required

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis

Schedules follow a 36/48-hour structure across a two-week pay period

Patient ratios may fluctuate based on census and staffing
