Longview Adult Family Home LLC is a warm, family-style 6-bed adult family home in Longview, WA. We are hiring a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) for a full-time night shift position and part-time day shift.
Schedule
Day shifts are: 7:30 am -7:30pm
Night shifts are: 7:30 pm -7:30 am
Pay
$17.50 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience and shift)
Responsibilities
Independently provide all care for up to 6 residents
Assist with all activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, etc.)
Safely perform transfers using medical equipment and manual assistance (must be physically able to lift heavy weights)
Administer medications
Communicate with doctors, pharmacies, and family members regarding resident needs and changes in condition
Complete accurate and timely charting/documentation
Prepare home-cooked meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks)
Perform light housekeeping and resident laundry
Create a joyful, respectful, and caring environment for our residents
Requirements Current Washington State CNA or HCA certification (required)
Genuine compassion and heart for serving seniors
Ability to work independently with confidence and strong decision-making skills
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record
Good cooking skills
Physically able to lift heavy weights and safely operate medical transfer equipment
Experience in adult family homes or small assisted living preferred
No jewelry of any kind allowed while on shift (including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches, etc.) – this is a strict safety policy to protect both residents and caregivers from injury
All visible tattoos must be covered at all times
